For my Covid-themed project, I aimed to capture the monotony of every passing day affected by the quarantines, social distancing, and mask wearing protocols. Every day seems to blend into the next and I tried portraying this in my photos by blending multiple images together through photoshop using layer masks and shading out certain regions. In doing so, I hope that I show the feeling that everyday is essentially the same as the one before it and the one after it only with small differences in the details. If you squint at some of the photos you see one photo, losing the details of the layers within them, similar to the feeling I've felt when going about my day, one of little purpose and more of just following the schedule of a standard day. Attempts to introduce activities or some sort of "spice" get overshadowed by the larger restrictions and lack of freedom we have had this year.
